Shilpi Singh dons many hats by being an Artist, a Human Resources Professional, and a mother to one & mentor to many. Carrying a wholesome experience of 14 years with a variety of Academics, Think tanks, Consultancies, Media, Hospitality & Telecom industry giants, and recently a retail giant, Shilpi Singh has many things on her plate which she manages ardently. Her worthy experience has bestowed her with a trustworthy image before the management of her company for bringing skeptical expertise in separating the wheat from the chaff. Her broadened horizon of experience incorporates Talent Acquisition, Training and Management, Employee Engagement, Relations and Benefits.
“Employee Benefits being my forte, I have successfully been able to implement Spiritual Wellness and Self-empowerment practices in the companies and people I have been associated with”, shares Shilpi Singh.
An extremely diligent professional has been successfully able to administer the syncing of individual development with the company’s growth. Being the current ‘Head – Human Resources’, ‘Della Group’- brainchild of Mr. Jimmy Mistry, she carries an extreme dedication, patience and willingness to take up the challenges at work, which is apparently her greatest strengths. She had been fortunate enough for being a part of the launch of ‘Times Now’ and ‘ET Now’, where her creativity was immensely fostered and nurtured.
Holding a bachelor’s in Computer Science and double Masters from Amity University and IMT, Ghaziabad, Shilpi reflects Human Resource as a vital asset to a company, more like a heart of an organisation.
“In order to hire people for all the departments, you need to know the business’ ‘ins and outs’. My inquisitiveness to know more about what I get into, drove me to HR“, recalls Shilpi, the admirable HR Professional.
She is immensely inspired by ‘Brigette Hyacinth’- the author of ‘Future of Leadership’; and acutely believes in forgetting the problems and remembering the learning out of problems. The multi-tasker, Shilpi always tends to pick up multiple goals together. “I should really work on 1 or 2 goals at a time; no more otherwise I spread my focus and discipline too thin, losing the motivation and momentum”, Shilpi admits.
“Thriving on the adrenaline rush by managing multiple responsibilities and tasks throughout the day is my USP”, she giggles while signing off.
