Inspiring Youths Through Library Platform
Highly inspired by Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam’s principles and contribution to the society, Er. Gourav Choudhary of Choudhary Planners Group Pvt Ltd, wants to focus on the country’s youth and provide them a platform to read, learn and gain knowledge which would eventually help them in their career progression. PM Narendra Modi’s big vision also encourages him to work for the betterment of the youth of Jammu through his new venture – Aspire Library. Due to political disturbances in Jammu, the students and local youth faces hardship in gaining knowledge and that’s where Gourav’s library platform plays a huge role in shaping up their future.
Though an Engineer and owner of a construction company, he has to struggle all his childhood to reach where he is today. Born in a financially backward family, it was tough to fight all adversity and gain the requisite experiences to run an enterprise. He took loan and started his entrepreneurial journey all by himself. Hailed from an orthodox family, his father’s small general kiosk wasn’t enough to run the family. And his mother took up the responsibility of supporting the family by selling milk for over two decades, after not being allowed to join the police due to societal taboo.
Gourav feels that every field is surrounded by competitors and the market is harsh. The only way to survive here is to provide best of services to the consumer. By providing best of class services and a positive environment to the students of Jammu, he has created a niche in the market. The family like atmosphere at Aspire Library encourages the youth to visit this place.
Being awarded as the Best Lecturer by Jamwal Group of Educational institutions and bagging the best water proofing experts by Ultra-tech cement and Dr. Fixit for his construction firm, Gourav believes that his straight forwardness, simplicity and clarity of thoughts have been the perfect ingredient of being a successful entrepreneur.
When asked about the biggest risk taken in this entrepreneurial expedition, Gourav responds nonchalantly “With social and economic drawbacks, I was clueless how to start but always envisioned a better future. That’s when luck favoured and I got a job, conditions improved. Together with my brother Rahul, I ventured into my business. And to concentrate fully, I took another bold step of quitting my job.” Hence, it has always been a roller coaster ride for the Choudhary brothers before they started to smooth sail. He is indebted to Dr. Amit Choudhary, Dr. Sunil Choudhary and Adv. Jatintder Choudhary, for their unconditional support. Interior’s City Talab Tillo and New Look Furniture, also played a huge role in boosting confidence in Goruav’s early venture.
Being a risk taker, Gourav has one motto in life and proudly says “I believe in only Quality and not Quantity. With bigger risk comes better outcome and fruitful result further motivates to take risk.” Though he struggled his way through this entrepreneurial world, he always like to inspire the youth for their upliftment, as they are the future of this country.
