Mohammed Sibgathulla Founder of VIT- FIT Café
Awarded as the “Best Conceptual health and nutritional cafe” by India icon awards 2019, the founder of the cafe, Mohammed Sibgathulla gives the credit of the award to his family. His knack for business and the remaining fit was the inspiration for the startup called “VIT- FIT cafe” which aims in providing the customer with healthy food and drinks. Losing his mother at a young age, compelled him to work harder and be the support for his family. Overcoming the loss of his mother was a hard time, but the love and support from his family and friends helped him in starting the cafe and pushed his passion towards a new goal.
When asked about the idea for a business, Mohammed says that his bug for business helped him in getting the passion and in addition to that, his passion for remaining fit, drove him into building this cafe.
“You are what you eat, and if you eat healthily, it will show. By avoiding unhealthy food, you are cutting down negativity from your life and leaving more space for positive vibes.”
The thing that makes Mohammed unique from others is his fearless behaviour. He is not afraid of failure and loves to take risks and do experiments. His strong passion for business and fearless behaviour helped him in getting success at every step. Though the journey to success was not a cakewalk, it was full of hurdles and mountains. In overcoming the hurdles, there were times when Mohammed even fell down, but he stood up and tried again, and the result he has received, is the award for the struggle he has faced.
While starting the business, he had to find the exact gist for his idea and the channel through which he would be able to spread his message towards the society. He observed the food industry and got to know the unhealthy food habits of people and the meals served in various restaurants were the reason as to why so many people suffered from various diseases from a young age. He was surprised to know that even kids were suffering from diseases such as diabetes and stomach infections. In order to make the society healthy, he contributed his bit by starting the nutrition-related cafe, which serves not only tasty dishes but even makes sure that the food has the right nutrition and are cooked in the right manner.
The challenge of developing a creative business was a bit tough, but Mohammed faced it boldly and started the cafe from scratch. Slowly and steadily, he helped the cafe gin growing and becoming the type of cafe that he wanted it to become. Though it consisted of risks regarding finance and funds, Mohammed took the risk as he was confident in his idea. The startup helped Mohammed in achieving his dream of spreading the message of eating healthy and remaining fit.
“Taking risk is the first thing that an entrepreneur should know. If he is afraid of taking risks then he is not an entrepreneur rather, he is a coward and in the field of business, one can easily get stomped on if they do have the nerve to take risks.”
With the fearless attitude in mind, Mohammed is marching forward in making his cafe a better version and expanding his business on a national level.
