Interior designing is an integral component of it. The task of designing how your space looks, however, is just as tough and tedious as it is necessary to make a place workable for a long period of time. With ‘Crew for You’ Handyman services, Krishnendu Parui spearheads a team that has made that job a lot easier for a lot of people.
Krishnendu Parui started this enterprise as a number of other entrepreneurs do – the idea was born out of personal frustration. In the year 2013, while he was building the house, he found that he could not get the right people, which would help him materialize his vision for his own house. The sense of helplessness that he felt concerning the process of trying to find the best people for the kind of job that he wanted to get done made him realize that this is probably a market wide problem. Consequently, the idea was born.
Soon after that, he felt compelled to leave his job to try his hand at building an enterprise, at which he quite evidently succeeded. His attitude speaks loads towards explaining why that is the case. He is refreshingly stoic in his attitude; he never tried to struggle with the unchangeable realities of the fact that his dreams are not achievable easily. It is perhaps that, that gave him the emotional and mental room to come up with interesting and unique strategies to enter a new market and gain new customers from scratch. He also devoted a lot of time to all the right things – from meticulously looking for the best talent to make up his team to be ruthlessly efficient in the enterprise’s financial management, he made sure that he did all the things that mattered most, perfectly.
We did market research and did know our competition. We find out who our competitors are, what they are offering, and what their strengths and weaknesses. We also know our customers. Keep our eyes and ears open on Customer expectations, which can change dramatically; we try to differentiate ourselves from our competitors and give customers good reasons to come to us rather than a rival.
He has a very healthy attitude towards his employees as well. On the one hand, he understands the fact that it being his enterprise alone, he cannot expect others to work harder or even as hard as he does. On the other hand, however, he also realizes the fact that people often undersell themselves, and he makes sure that he puts every person in his team in the right environment for them to maximize the turnover on their efforts.
My leadership style is very simple and straight forward, I build teams and challenge them to achieve their goals. I make sure that I never say no to my clients and pass the same vision to my team, and give them maximum value for their trust.
His business acumen has won him the admiration of his customers, as well as official felicitations. Other than the raving reviews that his customers give him on a regular basis, he had recently won the India Excellence Award in 2019.
