Mehek Purohit- Owner, ‘Chakliart’
A designer, with her heart beating for art, Mehek Purohit, the founder of ‘Chakliart’, is an ardent artist by profession and passion. Having won ‘Best Marketing and Digital Marketing Agency’ by ‘ChaseNomercytocrime Film’ and ‘Best Hospitality Consultancy’ by Zee Business, she adores art and looks forward to professionally take the next big leap soon.
After her 5 years stint as a Senior Visualizer and Marketing Head in Mumbai, with ample knowledge of marketing and media, Mehek quit her job in 2018 and eventually commenced her own venture, ‘Chakliart’.
Owing to her love for art and creative work, Mehek operated from her gut and left no stone unturned to explore new horizons in the field of marketing and media. She chose to walk on this creative path while exploring the wide spectrum of art.
Mehek Purohit is immensely inspired by her mother and grandmother, who have always backed her. She calls herself as fortunate for being surrounded by strong and independent women, who have motivated her to adeptly ingrain their traits.
An exceptional independent young entrepreneur, who accomplished her education and incepted her business through bank loans, recalls her biggest struggle of repaying them gradually through part time jobs.
An extremely difficult decision which turned her life 180 degrees was to leave her well paying job to begin a career from scratch with no financial aid. But being in a marketing field was an added advantage to her. Mehek always aspired to incept her own venture for the reason she was never satisfied with the amount and time she was investing in her work. It instigated her to take up this creative path, which was certainly going to be difficult for her, but keeping the courage & passion by her side, venturing into marketing and media is a bonafide evidence of her commendable experience and devotion for art.
Her Unique personality
On being asked about her uniqueness, Mehek admits, “I always work as an employee in my own company because I immensely believe that before becoming a boss, I want to become a good team leader”, adding if she had to pin-point a unique aspect in herself, she would say that her perspective to look at things differently, is what actually makes her unique.
