She shares her desire to transform others the way she did for herself through learning. Donita, whose father wished her to become a doctor or a surgeon, recalls that something else was written in her destiny, which forced her to come into the field of early education. Donita, who began her career at an early age of 19, recalls that earlier it was her necessity and only an option to work with early education systems.
She pursued her studies after her marriage, which had been challenging for her along with a tiny tot, but the destiny wrote for her to work instead of sitting at home and take care for her few months old daughter. And on seeing the schools as the only option where one can get back to home early, she joined the job which also gave her some time to spend with her growing daughter. Having done it for some years, spending time with little hear and having two children, made her stuck to pre-schools only, which gradually developed into a passion for innovatively imparting education to children. Donita, who always leverages her heart and soul in nurturing children with academics, made people recognize and acknowledge her style of work. Soon, faith of parents and love of students encouraged her extensively to do more in this field. Apparently, she started devoting more time to study child’s mind, nature, behavior and their psychology as well, which consequently made her believe that early childhood- bilingual education is what she would love to pursue as a career further.
Immensely inspired from her father, who taught her to never give up on her dreams and kept her working hard no matter what. She shares, “He did whatever he could do to take care of us and continued to encourage me at every step of my life”. Owing gratitude to her mother as well, Donita reflects that she has been her motivation since childhood, and she still follows the principles and values taught by her. She discloses that her husband is her strength, companion and counselor who always supports and encourages her through his trust, love and confidence, which proves that if family supports a woman and lead her, she can achieve any goal in life.
Donita describes gaining experience through every project she undertakes, as her experience-enriching activity which enhances through the use of online tools, methodology, pedagogy, curriculum and new softwares, and ascertains that leveraging these do make a difference. Donita always do what she loves & follows her bliss, listens to her heart & intuition, and firmly believes that in doing so, success will have no choice but to follow her. Keeping yourself positive and working passionately, is what she always adheres by.
