Raju Pabboju- Owner, SVSAV Technologies
Entrepreneur Mr. Raju Pabboju is an individual with high levels of energy and motivation who likes to keep abreast with latest trends in technology. Trekking and spending time in wilderness are his favorite pastime. In the entrepreneurial world, he immensely believes in ethical competition/constructive criticism and is always on the lookout for new innovations. Raju is an engineering graduate in Electronics & Communications from JNTU, Hyderabad, who after graduating in 2005, commenced his career as a Design engineer in an IT firm. His 8 years resounding stint in IT while working in various portfolios fostered him to launch his own company – ‘SVSAV Technologies’, a professionally driven engineering integration company imparting a wide range of products & services to cater to the customers’ requirements in the Audio-Visual Communication & Security needs. He has recently bagged ‘Indian Business Award – 2019’ as ‘Best entrepreneur award in Audio Visual Communication and Security System in Telangana’.
Mr. Pabboju reflects about the projects and services of the company and says, “We are a network of state-of-the-art technical team who are professionalized in the present & future technology to deliver excellence in service”. With over 15 years of rich experience in Design & Project executions, they have executed more than 200 private, public & Govt. sector projects”. His burning desire for being a job provider, rather than being a job-seeker, encouraged him to embark on his entrepreneurial journey. Sharing about his vision, he says “Despite tough competition and the tremendous gap between the demand and supply, there has always been a need for more, the reason to which can be attributed to the newer technologies and passive compaction. We have always believed in continuous innovation, and our quest for embracing changing trends of the industry has been a key factor in filling this gap which prompted us to venture into AV & IT industry.”
His inspiration is his ex- Boss who has apparently been the man behind his decision to take a plunge for entrepreneurship. “He has a clear vision of near and long term goals and connects the vision to daily activities, setting clear performance expectations from his peers and employees. He fosters team development and values employee perspectives. Employee and client satisfaction has always been colossal under his leadership. His work ethics have aided me in building my company”, Raju Pabboju recalls.
Being born in an upper middle class family with high moral values and sustaining through a highly competitive environment in academics has been a challenge for him. Starting a new career threw a whole set of new difficulties for him. He iterates, “Proving myself and establishing a unique identity during my tenure required persistence and hardship. This followed with the transition from a loyal employee to an entrepreneur, which was the hardest part of the entire cycle. Maintaining the ‘work-life’ balance and keeping the staff encouraged is certainly not a cake walk. Apart from this, gaining confidence of customers, employees and investors is the most challenging task of any entrepreneur and it has not been an exception in our case”.
The Technology honcho recalls, “Employee retention during initial growth period was a nightmare in a tough market competition where only the toughest survive. Changes in Govt. Policies also affected the growth pace. Meaningful employee engagement by providing non monetary incentives has been a key contributor in maintaining attrition. Maintaining composure and focus on long term goals has helped us in overcoming the obstacles. And above all, the encouragement from family and support of the employees always kept my morale high”.
He comments about the marketing strategies essential to reach out to the potential customers, “Online marketing services play vital role not just in identifying the opportunities but in marketing our service offerings. This contributes to more than 40% of market research. Maintaining healthy relationships with all the stakeholders of the industry including Consultants, OEMs and existing clients also contribute to exploring new opportunities. Customer referrals and sales reward programs are other sources of mining opportunities”.
Mr. Pabboju says, “Having an assertive personality, I am always focused on the vision of the company and driving it in the right direction. Despite the challenges, it has been a fruitful journey and I look forward to giving back to the society to the maximum extent possible”.
