Starting with Almost Nothing

In 2010, G.P. Sharma was a 23-year-old with no family business background, no industry connections, and just ₹15,000 in hand. What he did have was a laptop, an internet connection, and an unshakable belief in the potential of the digital world. From a small room in New Delhi, he launched DoesInfotech Solutions — a tiny venture with a big ambition: to help businesses grow online in a market that was only beginning to understand the internet’s potential.

Spotting an Untapped Opportunity

At the time, digital marketing in India was far from mainstream. While big brands were experimenting online, smaller businesses were invisible to the digital audience. Sharma identified this gap early. “These brands had so much potential, but no platform to reach their customers effectively,” he says. His strategy was simple yet powerful — combine creative storytelling with performance-driven marketing to help businesses get discovered and build trust.

From DoesInfotech to BeBran Digital

Over the years, Sharma’s business grew steadily, driven by word-of-mouth and a reputation for delivering measurable results. By 2024, the company had matured into a full-fledged digital marketing agency with a national and international clientele. That year, Sharma rebranded the company as BeBran Digital Pvt. Ltd., a name that captured its evolved focus on brand building and digital excellence. Operating from its headquarters in Westend Marg, New Delhi, BeBran now offers a comprehensive suite of services — including performance marketing, branding, website development, content strategy, influencer marketing, and UGC content creation.

The BeBran Difference

In a crowded market, BeBran Digital’s USP lies in its ability to merge storytelling with performance metrics. “We’re not just here to run ads; we’re here to build brands,” Sharma explains. This approach transforms marketing from a transactional activity into a long-term growth partnership. The result? Exceptional client retention, with many partnerships lasting for years.

Impact That Matters

For Sharma, business impact is about more than profits. BeBran’s work has helped create jobs, strengthen local brands, and improve digital literacy among entrepreneurs. By enabling smaller players to compete on a global stage, the company contributes to a more inclusive digital economy. “We want to see every brand — big or small — have the chance to be seen, trusted, and chosen,” he says.

Overcoming the Tough Years

The journey wasn’t without its challenges. In the early days, limited funds meant Sharma had to juggle multiple roles — strategist, marketer, salesperson, and accountant. Client losses, intense competition, and burnout were constant hurdles. Balancing family responsibilities while building the business from scratch demanded extraordinary discipline and focus. “Those years taught me resilience and the importance of having strong processes and a supportive team,” he reflects.

Guided by Inspiration

Sharma credits Ratan Tata for inspiring him with his humility and long-term vision, and Gary Vaynerchuk for his practical approach to branding and entrepreneurship. His own key lessons from years in business include staying relevant in a fast-changing market, building a strong team culture, fostering trust with clients, and never stopping the learning process.

Eyes on the Future

Looking ahead, Sharma’s plans for BeBran Digital are ambitious. In 2025, the company will focus on scaling its influencer marketing and UGC content divisions, while launching a tech-enabled platform to connect brands with creators. AI-powered marketing tools and global collaborations are also part of the growth roadmap, ensuring BeBran remains at the forefront of digital innovation.

Advice for Aspiring Entrepreneurs

Sharma’s guidance to new entrepreneurs is clear and direct: “Start with why. Don’t chase quick fame or funding. Focus on solving a real problem, stay committed to your vision, and keep upgrading your skills. The journey will have setbacks, but persistence pays off.”

Recognition and the True Reward

Over the years, BeBran Digital has received awards for excellence in digital strategy and client satisfaction from respected business platforms. Yet, for Sharma, the real achievement lies in the trust of his clients. Many who started with him in the early days remain loyal partners — a testament to the relationships, consistency, and results BeBran delivers.

From a modest room with a single laptop to leading a multi-crore global marketing agency, G.P. Sharma’s story is proof that determination, vision, and adaptability can turn even the smallest beginnings into remarkable success. His work continues to shape how brands grow in the digital age, one campaign and one story at a time.
