Mrs. Kiran Asture- Founder, Kredenza Interior Studios
Hailing from Belgaum and now residing in Bangalore for almost 9 years- Mrs. Kiran Asture, the founder of ‘Kredenza Interior Studios’, is a renowned Interior Designer. Kiran grew her love for Art from early years, and accomplished her degrees in D.Arch from VPP Belgaum and B.Sc in Interior designing from Vogue Institute of Art & Design, Bangalore. She says, “For me, Belgaum has been the best mother and Bangalore a great teacher.” She is a kind of person who never gives up on anything she once decides to achieve, no matter how tough it is!
She is an immensely optimistic personality who believes in learning something new every day.
A successful entrepreneur who always had an urge of opening her own firm went ahead with such courage and strong will that even challenges couldn’t shatter her. With a desire to open her creativity to the real world, she envisioned putting a personal touch in her business through ‘Kredenza Interior Studios’ that is the culmination of a long-standing passion for Interior Design. Her journey began with her love for colors and her desire for putting them together in different forms of space. After getting a few years of experience in this field, she envisioned helping people in bringing their imagination into reality, which created a sense of fulfillment for her.
Tremendously inspired by Shahrukh Khan’s success story, she takes her dose of motivation from the endless struggles he faced in life and his genuine tussle with failure. “I believe only a person who has been through adversity has all the rights to voice it out!” she shares, adding, “I remember a few lines by SRK- ‘Success is not a good teacher, failure makes you humble”.
Kiran Asture believes that every struggle in life comes for a reason and it depends on how we take it. She says,” I can write a book on my struggles.” Reflecting that she has been with her mother since childhood and always believed that she should study well to become someone her mother could be proud of, as her mother had herself been working continuously and couldn’t find enough time for her. She recalls how her mother made sure Kiran does the best and let her be herself.
Kiran kept on following her dreams no matter how big hurdles were on her way, be it the negative voicing from the world or people who didn’t want her to move ahead; she faced all with utter boldness.
But she takes these challenges as stepping stone to experience & success, without which life would have been plain & simple. She has commendably waded through struggles in her life varying from the capital required for investment to building her team. Despite starting from zero, the first client of hers showed trust in her work, to make his dream space look awesome. Eventually after few ups and downs, she built her prefect team that helps her put things perfectly.
She indeed looks at challenges as opportunity of creating something new.
Embarking on her entrepreneurial journey, she got her first project through a ‘word of mouth’. It was her friend’s music house that was quite a small space which she has to design at its best. She got applauded for her work and her journey began in full swing. The recipient of ‘Color of the year 2017 award’ by ‘QS Supplies, UK’, Kiran Asture loves to be creative everyday and in everything in her life. She always brings the positive side of everything she looks at! And she views every project she works on as her own and completes them with sheer determination and love.
