With a burning desire to do something of her own and be an entrepreneur, Riya Behal started her venture “Aerial Immigration” in 2018, in a small office of two rooms in Punjab’s Ferozepur. And today there’s no looking back. This female entrepreneur is riding the waves of success and enjoying it to the fullest. With all her hard work and co-operative staffs, she could establish her firm is a short span of time with a success rate of almost 100%.
Through her venture, Riya provides information regarding higher education in various countries such as Canada, Australia, NZ and has a professional command over the education system worldwide, which helps the aspirants immensely in getting clarity before they decide to go abroad. With diverse background of finance, customer service and overseas education industry, she manages to provide an integrated service to her clients. Her zeal to achieve success is praiseworthy and will definitely inspire today’s youth from small town areas, who want to make it big in the world of business. All her hard works and risk taking abilities are now slowly paying off.
As a confident, self-starter from a humble background, she feels that “Entrepreneurship is not something I feel I was born with; it’s a skill I’ve worked hard to build and develop. It starts with the belief that you will achieve your goals and desires for your company. Situations don’t always turn out the way I think they will but I solve problems and formulate strategies to push through out of each obstacle that presents itself. This has helped me continue to grow and learn how to manoeuvre successfully in the world of business.”
By guiding students she not only does her business but serves the society by counselling them for a better and brighter future. Her mother has been her inspiration, who has taught her to remain strong and focussed during the hard times. She has always motivated her to carry on with her passion and not lose hopes. Being from a small town had its own drawbacks – society didn’t approve her move to be a lady entrepreneur and at her initial days she was always being criticized and discouraged. But she took it as a challenge and went ahead and crossed all hurdles. And during this journey it was her brother, aunt and best friend who stood by her side and encouraged her.
Before opening her own venture, she learned the trade tricks through her previous employers. Her passion, dedication, hard work, fighting spirit, honesty and positive attitude makes all the difference. Today’s youth can thus take inspiration and encouragement from this lady who is raring to go through all odds. Being conferred as the “Best Immigration Consultant” in 2019 both by India500 startup Award 2019 and India Excellence Award 2019; itself proves her achievements. She also won “Women Leadership award 2019”.
