He loved to see people with smiling faces since his childhood, today he is the “smile designer”
Dr. Pratiek Gupta is a remarkable name who has followed his passions and reached a certain state that helps thousands of people to gain their lost smiles again and to have a better life filled with joy and happiness. Dr. Gupta has been inspired by a few people in his life to move forward towards his passion. These people are Dr. Rajiv Verma who taught me the art of smile designing and was instrumental along with Dr. Christian Coachman to train me in the DSD principles. Apart from that Dr. David Clark has also inspired to a great extent.
He realised the backwardness of how dentistry was being practiced in India compared to the western countries and has been working since to make people understand how important it is to think beyond the conventional set of norms and regulations and that dentistry is beyond just “tooth removal” and “caps”.
He has a different approach to treating his patients and he understands perfectly the painful situations of his patients, which is one of the most remarkable aspects. This personal touch that he offers is what helps him stand out amidst the crowd.
