London, UK – September 22, 2025 – Hombale Films has unveiled the official trailer for its much-awaited film Kantara A Lengend Chapter 1, released in seven different languages, including Kannada, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam,
Bengali and English today, in anticipation of the film’s UK premiere on 1st October 2025. Laughing Water Entertainment is distributing the film with a UK wide theatrical release on 2nd October 2025.

Anirudh Mahesh, Shanil Guru the film will transport audiences to the 4th Century AD exploring the sacred origins of the mystical land called Kantara and of Kaadubettu Shiva during the Kadamba dynasty era. This chapter will delve deeper into the mythology, conflicts and divine interventions that shaped the events of the first film, offering an even richer and more immersive cinematic experience with breathtaking action and soul-stirring music. Unlike a traditional sequel Kantara A Legend: Chapter 1 is designed to stand on its own, giving audiences both new and
returning a chance to experience the foundations of a legend while setting the stage for the future of the franchise.
The film features a stellar ensemble cast led by Rishab Shetty, with Gulshan Devaiah, Jayaram and Rukmini Vasanth in prominent roles.
Hombale Films continues its legacy of world-class production, with technical brilliance brought to life by a talented team including B. Ajaneesh Loknath (music) and Arvind S. Director Rishab Shetty began his career in the film industry as an actor, eventually expanding his craft to directing and writing.
