The unique partnership of a Science graduate and an Engineer are building their venture to make people look beautiful and feel good.
Been in the business for last 7 years, Rupesh Mhatre and Vidhi Gor, partnered together to build this amazing enterprise of cosmetics manufacturing and distribution. With a mixed educational background of Science and Engineering, both are successfully steering their business in the rough waters of entrepreneurship. In fact they are firm believers that true entrepreneurs are born, not made. It is the experience and expertise which one gathers during their own journey that makes them a perfectionist in the long run. And hence, like any business venture, they too had their share of ups and downs.
Based out of Navi Mumbai’s Vashi, this venture started, when both Rupesh and Vidhi decided to quit their secured job and take a risk of running their own firm. It wasn’t an easy decision, but then eventually things fell in place after those initial hiccups. On asking the triggers to start their own business, Rupesh recalls “We think it takes more than a single moment to compel someone to do something unusual and risky. For us, it was a series of things that compelled us to give up our jobs and start a business and there were series of events that made us start our own business.”
Risking their job for a new venture needs immense support from family and that’s why they feel family being their inspiration because they have admired so many qualities from them. Infact family taught them how to handle various situations, they taught the positivity and simplicity. Family encouraged them through thick and thin, made them believe that nothing is impossible if one works and focuses on their objectives, for them the success is bound to come.
For Rupesh and Vidhi, there was innumerable hindrances that they had to fight. However, they were focused and let go those negativity around them. They always had been hopeful with their venture and dreamt of a great future, and that’s what kept them sail through smoothly.
Business is all about taking risk, it’s about playing a game. One should rightly strategize taking advantage of the time and resources at hand. The way you communicate, present yourself to the customers talk volume about your product. Inspite of all these, they kept their focus and faced challenges bravely. A strong believer of hard-work, both the partners are optimistic, selfless and practical in their approach.
