Kareena Kapoor Khan Partners SUGAR Cofounders To Launch K-Beauty Brand Quench Botanics

Bollywood superstar Kareena Kapoor Khan has joined hands with Sugar Cosmetics cofounders Vineeta Singh and Kaushik Mukherjee to launch a Korean beauty brand called Quench Botanics.

The brand, which is set to launch in India in early 2024, will offer a range of skincare and makeup products that are formulated with natural ingredients and are suitable for Indian skin types.

In an interview with Inc42, Singh said that the idea for Quench Botanics came from the fact that there is a growing demand for Korean beauty products in India, but many of these products are not affordable or accessible to Indian consumers.

“We wanted to create a Korean beauty brand that is affordable, accessible, and tailored to the needs of Indian skin types,” Singh said.

Kapoor Khan said that she is excited to partner with Singh and Mukherjee to launch Quench Botanics.

“I have always been a fan of Korean beauty products, and I am thrilled to be able to introduce my own Korean beauty brand to the Indian market,” Kapoor Khan said.

“I am confident that Quench Botanics will be a hit with Indian consumers because it offers high-quality products at affordable prices.”

Mukherjee said that Quench Botanics will be available online and through select retail stores across India.

“We are committed to making Quench Botanics accessible to all Indian consumers,” Mukherjee said.

“We will also be offering a wide range of products to suit the needs of all skin types.”

What is K-beauty?

K-beauty is a term used to describe Korean skincare and makeup products and routines. K-beauty is known for its focus on hydration, skin health, and natural ingredients.

K-beauty products are typically formulated with plant-based ingredients, such as hyaluronic acid, green tea, and rice water. These ingredients are known for their hydrating, soothing, and anti-aging properties.

K-beauty routines also typically involve multiple steps, including cleansing, toning, moisturizing, and using masks and serums. This multi-step routine is designed to give the skin a healthy, radiant glow.

Why is K-beauty popular in India?

K-beauty is popular in India for a number of reasons. First, K-beauty products are typically affordable and accessible. Second, K-beauty products are formulated with natural ingredients that are suitable for Indian skin types. Third, K-beauty routines are focused on skin health and hydration, which are important concerns for Indian consumers.

What can we expect from Quench Botanics?

Quench Botanics is expected to offer a range of skincare and makeup products that are formulated with natural ingredients and are suitable for Indian skin types.

The brand’s skincare products are likely to focus on hydration, skin health, and anti-aging. The brand’s makeup products are likely to be lightweight and natural-looking.

Quench Botanics is also expected to offer a wide range of products at affordable prices. This will make the brand accessible to all Indian consumers.

The launch of Quench Botanics is a significant development in the Indian beauty market. K-beauty is a growing trend in India, and Quench Botanics is the first Indian beauty brand to focus exclusively on K-beauty products.

It remains to be seen how Quench Botanics will be received by Indian consumers. However, the brand has the potential to revolutionize the Indian beauty market.
