Rajesh Kumar K, the founder of a renowned ‘Family salon, Spa and Bridal studio’ – ‘Studie’o 7’, is a successful businessman who is a role model for many aspiring business professionals. He is an MBA graduate and a bank professional who decided to quit his job and step into business to write the golden chapter of his career. With 3 extensive years in this venture, he has created a history in his professional life. Born and brought up in Udumalpet, a town in Tamil Nadu, Rajesh is married and has been blessed with a beautiful family with 2 kids.
A monotonous lifestyle was unbearable for an utterly brisk person like him. With an urge to do something challenging and new every day, the thought of beginning a business seeded in his mind that would keep him going! Looking up to all successful businessmen as his role model, Rakesh wade through every struggle he got during his entrepreneurial journey. Like every growing venture, he too had to face teething problems while developing his business into a brand.
“Today I have over 20 franchises under my brand and I’m successfully working towards making it a 50 franchise outlet business in the year 2020”, he discloses.
Leaving his job and delving into an unknown territory had been the most challenging decision of his life. But he is immensely thankful to his wife for being so supportive and encouraging him to pursue his passion. “With a salon prevalent in every other building, I was sure this is a viable business to foray into”, he states. But the lack of quality services to the targeted segment of clients instigated him to open the one of its kind salon, to cater to their every requirement! Rajesh, whose quality services and operations are his strength, found this business model a success, both from corporate and the franchise point of view. Tremendously chasing his dreams, he went on passionately, and recently, his efforts have been recognized by ‘India Excellence Award 2019’ for being the ‘Best Salon Chain, Tamil Nadu’.
