Arghya Goswami is a remarkable entrepreneur of this generation who is a self-made man driven by his passion and determination. He was born in West-Bengal and had completed his graduation in mechanical engineering from Gujarat. In the year 2006, Arghya joined his father in their first individual venture and he felt the “Adrenaline rush” that drove him further to establish himself as a successful entrepreneur. Soon after completing his diploma in engineering, Arghya started evolving his individual venture in collaboration with a reputed pre-school chain in Gujarat. He has been Nominated for India 5000 Best MSME Award along with Real Superhero 2020 by Forever Star India Awards.

Business Focus and Goals

Arghya runs a mineral water plant named “Blue-Flow” which focuses on producing fresh packaged drinking (Alkaline water) water to the nation at reasonable rates. India for a very long has been facing the difficulty for having a lack of drinking water and Arghya has taken a huge step to rectify this issue with his honest agenda.“I have personally seen the people compromising with their health by drinking the ground water directly without filtration just because of their poor financial condition” Arghya said. This very scarcity or drinking water is what led him to take up this noble mission.

“The Alkaline water that we are manufacturing at the moment along with the packaged drinking water has acted as a boon specifically due to its ability to control the blood pressure and lower the risk of heart diseases.”

His organization produces water bottles which range from “250 ml to 20 litre” which is remarkable considering the variety they offer unlike the other contemporary organizations in the market. Another remarkable aspect of this organization is that they never compromise with the “quality that the company is providing”. He is also planning to expand his business by adding various products and beverages in their product list and deliver them to a wider range of people.

Hurdles and Challenges

People believe that business is something that should always be done by brain and never by heart. Arghya never believed in the hearsay and wrote his own rule for himself. “Business is always done by both mind and heart” he believes. He has had to face several criticisms due to this point of view but he never gave up on believing in it and went further to achieve his dream no matter how harsh his circumstances have been.

“The competition was never going to be easy due to the presence of many big fishes in the market. But as I mentioned, clinging to ethics and seeking customer satisfaction helped us to grow in a very short span of time.”

Someone had told him he would always be a “ZERO” no matter what he does and wherever he goes. This statement, instead of breaking him down, made him stronger and he still thanks the person who said it for having such a great contribution in his journey.

Arghya has also worked hard against the so-called “showoff  part” that is otherwise believed to be a major role in business. He has simply believed in having a simple life with ambition and dreams.

Arghya’s father Mr. Manoranjan Goswami has been the greatest inspirational figure in his life who taught him “how to be firm at our place irrespective of how good/bad the situation or the condition might be.” Apart from that Mr. Sandip Banerjee and his cousin Mr. Sanket Chaudhari have inspired him each day to become a better version of himself.

Arghya believes all the young aspiring entrepreneurs need “proper guidance” and know “how to channelize” their thought process into something positive and go forward towards achieving their dreams.
