I am Piyush Bhansali, the proud owner of Nakoda Events, a wedding planning and events management company based in the vibrant city of Jodhpur, Rajasthan. A decade ago, the wedding planning industry in our region was still in its infancy. This void inspired me to venture into entrepreneurship, driven by a strong desire to create something exceptional and impactful. With a background in finance and an MBA in finance and marketing, I took the leap into the entrepreneurial world at the age of 22.
The inception of Nakoda Events in 2012 marked the beginning of an incredible journey. Starting with a modest capital of Rs 5 lakhs, I encountered various challenges in setting up the company. The initial struggle for capital was overcome by organizing exhibitions to generate funds for essential resources such as office setup, marketing materials, and operational expenses. Convincing my family about my decision to leave a stable job in the finance sector was tough initially, but my determination and hard work gradually gained their trust and support.
Nakoda Events began as a wedding planning firm but quickly evolved into a multifaceted enterprise, encompassing photography and catering services as well. Recognizing the potential for growth in these sectors within the wedding industry, I diversified the business to cater to a wider range of client needs.
One of the key elements that set Nakoda Events apart from competitors is our emphasis on innovative design, themes, and technological integration in event planning. Our commitment to creativity and delivering unparalleled customer experiences became our unique selling proposition (USP).
