Ssanjay Prakash Rawte – Managing Partner, Shilpi Inter Designs Solutionz
It was 1992, when Ssanjay joined his family business that was founded by his father in 1982. After his father’s demise, this Interior Designer now heads the business and is responsible for its vast expansion and client acquisitions. With over 350+ clientele across India and having completed more than 2000 projects, Shilpi Inter Designs Solutionz, undoubtedly is making the right noise in the Interiors category. Even though Ssanjay specialises in corporate interiors, he has also worked extensively on other sectors like banking, gym & fitness centres, retails, and residential projects.
A vast pool of talent across industries has been brought together to bring alive the vision of the Shilpi Inter Designs Solutionz which includes being customer centric, design driven and digitally enabled so as to execute exceptional projects. Today the firm is an ISO 9001:2015 certified company and a proud member of Indian Institute of Interior Designers and Indian Green Building Council, specializing as “Interior Designer & Turnkey Operators”.
Ssanjay feels that through his venture he not only provides satisfying output as per client brief but also creates employment opportunities for a larger section of the society. Shilpi Inter Designs Solutionz has always focused on timely completion of projects without compromising on product quality and finish. With existing offices in Mumbai, Vadodara and Bhopal, Ssanjay aims to open up new offices across major Indian cities as well as overseas.
Ssanjay manages an efficient team of experienced and accomplished designers with a philosophy of team action, to create high quality design of the interior spaces that are imaginative, functional and sophisticated. And that’s where the secret of his company’s success lies. Though now a brand name by itself, it took lot of hardships to reach where Shilpi Inter Designs is now. Recalling his struggles, Ssanjay narrates,
“I had to face lot of challenges. When I took over I was just 18 years old and at the same time was pursuing my studies in Interior designing. So it was study and work together. But the biggest advantage that I got was that a lot of hands on experience while studying. So theory became easy to understand since I was getting practical knowledge as well. We had very few clients then. But I thank them all their support during our difficult times.”
As a true entrepreneur, Ssanjay keeps a close watch to the latest happening in the industry and on demand, doesn’t hesitate to upgrade their offerings to the client. Innovative changes in the workings of the designs & site work along with internal organization changes help him to be a contender in grabbing the market opportunities.
Being recipient of “Outstanding Professional Achievement & Contribution to Nation 2020-2021” from Indian Achievers Forum, Ssanjay is all excited and shares his piece of advice to the young guns who want to make it big in Interior Designing space. He says,
“Be sincere, disciplined, hardworking and transparent towards the work that you do for your clients / customer. These same morals have to be followed in any dealings you do in life, it always pays back.”
He has been a risk taker and understands customer pulse quite effortlessly, and that’s probably the reason why he could take his business venture to next level through aggressive expansion plan and flawless execution.
