Mrs. Mala (Dasgupta) Sengupta -Owner, “ANUBHAV” Experience English is Fun
Mala (Dasgupta) Sengupta is a woman entrepreneur with firm determination and enthusiasm; a teacher who has been extensively serving society since the age of 17. During her voluminous 30 years of experience as an Educator, she never got tired of her work. She is an inspiration for many who lose all hopes on facing a moment of failure. She has faced several ups and downs in her life but none of them was even a fraction of that devastating time – on 24th January 2016, when she lost her 14 year old son ANUBHAV due to one night’s fever. This irreparable loss of her only son shattered her almost to doom but a big salute to her remarkable enthusiasm, she didn’t surrender to this adverse situation and didn’t give up the role of an educator. She didn’t halt shaping the future citizens of India, despite of her shattered personal life. Instead of traumatizing over her personal loss, she deemed it right for doing some noble work at her end. The brilliant Educator; just like a brave warrior, fought with an immense pain, and triumphantly played her role of an educator.
The educator, Mala, who is reshaping the career of students in India, stands up as an idol for many. Her struggle against her fate denotes motivation for one and all that “No matter how devastating the course of life may be, we should not give up and work hard for the betterment of all”. She strongly believes in the quote by Swami Vivekananda,
“Arise! Awake! And stop not until the goal is reached.”
While teaching in a school, Mala, yearned to teach her students beyond the syllabus, which could benefit them in the larger picture; which she figured out was next to impossible by being in a job. She realized that her desire to impart students holistic education, requires an independent working approach and with due course of time, she incepted her institute, “Anubhav”.
She looks up to her family (her parents, siblings, husband and her beloved son) as her source of inspiration, without whom, she would not have been able to climb the ladder of success. Her fight against the conventional methods of teaching and educating only the syllabus oriented courses, made her develop a curriculum which provided holistic development to students. She further reflects her vision by saying, “Ability to communicate in English is of utmost significance to comprehend the “global village”, of which we are a part now.” She envisioned establishing an institute where she can contribute to benefit the students at a large by teaching them English.
She is an extremely amiable, loving, caring and confident person possessing strong determination. She is a fighter who never rests her deeds or surrenders to any situation easily. She aims at gaining more knowledge, which she aspires to share with everyone and desires to spread millions of smiles….

Her English Learning institute, “Anubhav”, has been entitled with IBA Awards 2019, as the Best English Learning coaching in Kolkata.
