Ramesh Shrinivasan
In the digital media-scape, a disproportionate level of commerce happens virtually. As such, understanding where and how attention operates in the social media is a skill that is in high demand, and yet the business of marketing and selling online according to the changing landscape is a tough job; it requires endless empathy with ruthless efficiency.
Ramesh Shrinivasan is bringing a unique perspective to this game in the Indian markets. Realizing the massive opportunity just the sheer size and diversity of consumer demands offers to any potential marketer, Ramesh chose to quit his 9-5 job eventually and chose to establish ‘lessburn,’ a growth-oriented Digital Marketing Agency. He takes pride in being able to tailor personalized digital solutions for every client that he has. He is clearly very passionate about generating marketing strategies and establishing sales networks in the digital space; he sees it is an inherently humanistic exercise with more freedom, choice, and discretion than markets have ever had before.
My desire to meet the unfulfilled need of the market made me start living my passion retiring from my 9 – 6 grinding corporate world. With a visual of a successful business model, I started my own firm, ‘lessburn,’ to make our clients’ business digitally strong with our strategic approaches living a flexible lifestyle.
He works with an unerring sense of focus and result-driven ambition. He doesn’t believe in generating a large clientele, but rather focuses a lot more on cultivating a limited number of more strategic partnerships that would be open to working together on a recurring basis. He realizes how this is a lot more difficult than the former, because of the amount of diligence and effort it takes from his side to make sure that his clients are satisfied enough to continue doing business with them. He also has a refreshing long-term perspective of things and is incredibly patient in the face of adversities.
I admire to live a simple life after inspired by Warren Buffet. His “Set it, forget it” ethos stems from idealizing the right strategies for any business to play a long game!
He also clearly knows how to manage a company. It is perhaps his experiences in a 9-5 job that has made him painfully privy to the perspective of the employee, their needs, their limitations, and the inherent sense of untapped potential that often exists with the employees. He is very mindful of how he interacts with employees; he makes sure he makes publically positive affirmations in response to good work.
Creating a multi-cultural workplace laid a path for the difference of opinions initially, which were then tackled later by mastering the Emotional Intelligence.
His work has clearly been highly appreciated consistently. Other than the raving clients that repeatedly come back, his firm has also earned official felicitations. Helping one of the other companies that its holding company holds to make a turnover of more than ₹45 lakhs resulted in his firm winning the South Indian Startup Award (SISA) – 2018. Consequently, they were also recognized by Silicon India as the Company of the Year – 2019.
