With a foundation built on decades of experience and a commitment to innovative design, KDA Architects has carved a niche in creating sustainable and aesthetically pleasing spaces across residential, corporate, and healthcare domains.
Deepali Meni’s journey into architecture began with a profound passion for creating environments that resonate with individuals’ unique personas. Her career trajectory was shaped by invaluable experiences at prestigious firms like HCP-DPM in Ahmedabad and RSP in Bangalore, where she honed her skills under the guidance of architectural luminaries such as Dr. Bimal Patel, Ar. Hasmukh C Patel, and Ar. Gurjit Singh Matharoo.
In 1998, Deepali Meni ventured into entrepreneurship, driven by a desire to redefine architecture with a focus on sustainability and client-centric design. The inception of KDA Architects marked the beginning of a journey characterized by creating spaces that optimize resources while prioritizing user comfort and functionality.
KDA Architects’ approach is distinguished by its commitment to creating “Evergreen Masterpieces,” a philosophy that reflects in every project undertaken. The firm’s specialization spans diverse sectors, offering expertise in residential, corporate, and healthcare architecture, with a unique emphasis on sustainable practices and efficient space utilization.
As a woman entrepreneur in a male-dominated industry, Deepali Meni faced challenges early in her career. However, her creativity, resilience, and compassionate approach have been instrumental in overcoming these hurdles and establishing KDA Architects as a beacon of innovative design.
The firm’s success is underscored by its ability to understand and integrate client psychology into every project, ensuring that each space not only meets functional needs but also reflects the identity and aspirations of its occupants. This client-centric approach, coupled with a strong emphasis on sustainable and green architecture, has earned KDA Architects recognition, including prestigious awards like the Wade Asia Award and Global Business Reconnect.
Looking ahead, KDA Architects envisions a future where architecture contributes positively to a sustainable and harmonious world. Projects like their current endeavor—a farmhouse promoting organic farming and energy-efficient design—are testament to their commitment to environmental stewardship.
Deepali Meni’s advice to budding architects emphasizes the importance of trust and collaboration in design projects. She believes that success in architecture hinges on understanding clients’ aspirations and translating them into tangible, innovative spaces that inspire and endure.
Ar. Deepali Meni and Ar. Kunal Meni exemplify how passion, resilience, and a commitment to sustainability can shape a successful architectural practice. Through KDA Architects, they continue to leave an indelible mark on the industry, creating spaces that blend functionality with artistic vision, while contributing to a greener, more sustainable future.
